In 2024, Mr. Geller was named the Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) Pro Bono Advocate of the Year, a testament to his dedication to advocating for vulnerable children in need of legal assistance in immigration matters.

A Client Focused Approach from the Start

Both during and following law school, Jacob learned immigration law while working for one of Boston’s most experienced and highly regarded immigration attorneys, assisting clients in a wide range of family and business cases. Jacob has represented numerous clients in a wide variety of cases, including divorce, custody determinations, deportation/removal defense, green card (permanent resident) adjustment of status, work visas and court representation.

In February 2011, Jacob opened the Law Offices of Jacob D. Geller in an effort to improve the legal service he could offer clients by offering better service and more reasonable prices to his clients. In January 2022, Attorney Geller partnered with Attorney James Benjamin to form Geller Benjamin, LLP. Since opening the law firm, Jacob has taken on cases in varied areas of law including numerous immigration cases, divorce, construction litigation, estate plans and contract reviews.
